In the Sierra Pairs Open (Report by Comp Organiser Phil Dixon), 16 boats landed 121 fish for 286lbs and returned an estimated 80 fish. The fishing has been incredible, with so many top quality fish coming to the scales. Best fish of the day tipped the scales round to 7lb 4oz, which was taken late on in the match by Lee Lindope (see photo) and William, who will now be able to fish the picturesque Golden Grove Fishery.
The winning pair Harris Campbell and Brian Carngie (Pictured below) whose bag of 8 fish went nearly 25lb, Included a brace of Rainbows that went 11lb 1oz. Their fish were taken fishing close into the bank near the Butts. Congratulations to the other three boats that qualified for the grand final at Llyn Brenig in August.
